Valyoud started with something I think most of us have experienced: needing to hear the right words at the right time.

The reminder that you’re not falling behind when it feels like everyone else is moving faster than you. That you’re doing better than you think when all you can see is how far you still have to go. That a hard season isn’t going to feel this way forever.

Sometimes those words come from someone we love. Sometimes we find them in a song, a post, or a sentence that somehow finds us on exactly the right day.

I wanted to create more of those moments.

That became Valyoud.

Every Valyoud piece begins with a message meant to make you feel seen. You might wear it, carry it with you, write in it, or keep it somewhere you’ll see it often. And sometimes, someone else might notice those words at exactly the moment they needed them too. But I also knew that one message couldn’t possibly know what kind of day you were having.

So Valyoud goes a little further.

The words on your Valyoud piece are only the beginning. Every piece includes a QR code that’s there for the days you need a little more. Scan it, tell us how you’re feeling, and you’ll receive a personalized message made for that moment. And when another day feels different, come back and scan again. Because sometimes, the right words find you exactly when you need them.

WHY VALYOUD?

The name comes from valued + you.

Because at the heart of everything we create is you. Not the version of you who has everything figured out. Not only the version who’s having a good day. You, exactly where you are.

Valyoud exists to make the things we don’t always know how to talk about feel a little less lonely. To create reminders you can keep close, moments that help you check in with yourself, and messages that can make someone feel seen — even when you may never know they needed them.

Maybe the message is for you. Maybe someone else sees it and realizes it was for them, too.
